Hello Ontbirders,

There ia a Boreal Chickadee that visits my suet feeder in the backyard of 44
Front Road West. The bird can be seen either at the suet feeder in the birch
tree or in the first spruce closest to the birch tree. It has been seen on
and off since January 8th.

For best viewing, park on side road beside house across from backyard. The
Boreal is not often present but when it is, it is usually seen between 7:30
am and 8:00 am and between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm.

Several Gray Partridges also roost under the spruce tree used by the Boreal
Chickadee. Look for a dozen or so in the fields at the back of the house.

Directions: Take Hwy 417 east to exit # 27: Vankleek Hill and Hawkesbury.
At flashing amber light, turn left (north) on Hwy 34 and drive through
Vankleek Hill, continue northward towards the town of Hawkesbury and pass 2
traffic lights. At the 3rd light at the corner of McGill (Hwy 34 becomes
McGill in Hawkesbury) and Main St. turn left (west) and drive 2.6 km. Turn
right (northwest) on Front Road West and look for the house with civic number
44 on the right side (7th house on the north side of Front Road West).
