No Purple Sandpiper or Harlequin but other Ducks & Iceland Gulls - Ashbridge's Bay, Toronto

No Purple Sandpiper or Harlequin duck found anywhere on the Eastern Beaches
(Ashbridge's Bay Park to RC Harris Water Filtration Plant) between 8 & 9am
today, but 1 American pipit & several first year Iceland gulls near the
Balmy Beach club, east of the foot of Balsam Av.

In Coatsworth Cut at 4pm today:
- in addition to the regular Gadwall, Mallards, Bufflehead, Longtailed, &
Am. Black duck, there were a few pairs of Scaup, Redheads, 8 Common
Mergansers, and 1 Goldeneye,
- at least 5 first year (dark and light) and 1 adult Iceland gulls , among
Herring, Ringbilled and Gt Black Backed gulls for comparison.

Coatsworth Cut is just south of Lakeshore Blvd between Ashbridge's Bay Park
and Sewage Treatment Plant.
Ashbridge's Bay Park is at the foot of Coxwell Av 6km E of downtown Toronto
RC Harris Filtration Plant is at the foot of Victoria Park Av, the boundary
between Toronto and Scarborough.
