Fall Hawk Counters Needed

Two positions open for counters in the world's most concentrated raptor
flyway in Veracruz Mexico. Join Mexican counters in recording 4-5 million
North American raptors and waterbirds heading to southern wintering grounds.

Experience identifying and counting hawks necessary. Experience with large
flock estimation and Spanish language helpful.  Counters needed from
mid-August through mid-November, 2002.  Airfare, housing, and $600 per month
stipend are provided.
