During this last 7 days, both Juvenile Least and juvenile Semi-palmated
Sandpipers have been on Kettle Point. In addition on 4th. August a juvenile
Black-bellied Plover was here along with some moulting adults.
Today the 7th. the small flock of adult Semi-palmated
Plovers had a single Juvenile with them.
On a sad note, loggers are cutting within
200m. of an active ACADIAN FLYCATCHERS nest here on K.Pt.
Kettle Point is North of Forest just off Highway 21.
                                                  Good birding, Alf.
