Hi Everyone
Despite the hot weather a few migrants were noted today, September
9th, along the Ottawa River at Andrew Haydon Park (east side). On the
mud flats, which continue to be extensive, 2 Bairds Sandpiper and a
juv. Black-bellied Plover were noted. In the surrounding trees and
shrubs 2 Palm, 1 Blackpoll and 3 Tennessee Warblers were observed. A
Merlin made a few attempts on the shorebirds, with no success.

                                            good birding

Directions: From Ottawa take Hwy. 417 west, take the Bayshore exit and
continue north on Bayshore Drive, to Carling Ave. Turn left (west) on
Carling. Continue on Carling Ave, a short distance, until you reach
