Brown Pelican - north of Madoc

This indirect reporting of southern Pelecaniformes is getting to be a
habit<G>.

Following a report from a friend of a Brown Pelican, which may already have
been reported on Ontbirds (I've been away/busy and not kept track) but in
case not,
the bird was reported to be seen on Jordan Lake, directly along Highway
62, north of HWY 7, between Madoc and Bancroft.

It was seen by
April Tannahill, and apparently she does not mind being called at
613 474 0754, until approximately 4:00 p.m. Sunday. If anyone in that
area wants to talk to her perhaps her ID skills can be verified. The
bird does fly, and has a visible "hole in one foot".

Cheers,

Barry
