On Sept. 9, Joel Ellis and Bud Rowe refound the WHIMBREL and the AM. GOLDEN
PLOVER reported by Owen Weir yesterday. They were both in the same area as
the BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER which has been feeding on the field near the
first Ducks Unlimited pond. The Gravel Bar at the northeast corner of the
KFN Property also had a AM. GOLDEN PLOVER, a RED KNOT, both YELLOWLEGS, 2
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS, many SANDERLINGS, fair numbers of the common peeps
and many COMMON TERNS.
AM. PIPITS have been increasing in numbers for the past month and are now
plentiful.

We were unable to relocate the HUDSONIAN GODWIT reported by Owen Weir
yesterday.
