Greetings Ontbirds people,

The Townsend's Solitaire survived yet another week "in the freezer". It was
reported today March 4 @ 3:05 PM by (guess who?...Justin Peter! Our man in
Rothwell Heights has done it again!)

The Solitaire was reportedly singing a soft "whisper" or "shadow" song in an
apple tree near #5 Coxford St, at the hydro right-of-way.

>From west of Ottawa, take Hwy 417 east to the 417/174 split, proceed on 174
and exit at Blair Rd. From the east, take 174 to the Blair exit as well. Go
north on Blair, then right (east) on Ogilvie Rd. Cross Montreal Rd. and
continue left (north) on Ogilvie, then take the 1st left (west) onto Naskapi
Dr. Follow Naskapi which becomes Rothwell Dr. as you head northwest.
Coxford St. is a very short street that runs between Wick Cr. and Wren Rd.
Please park on either Wick or Wren to prevent blocking laneways, and please

Good birding,
Chris Lewis
