[Ontbirds]Mourning, possible Prairie among 23 warbler species in Thickson's--May 18

All day long on Wed., May 18, Thickson's Woods trees and understorey were
"dripping" with birds, many of which were very close. Counting a possible
PRAIRIE there were 23 warbler species, highlights being MOURNING, CANADA,
WILSON'S, CAPE MAY, NORTHERN PARULA, TENNESSEE, BAY-BREASTED, BLACKPOLL,
OVENBIRDS and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH.
Among the other 40+ songbirds-- Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting, Wood
Thrush, many Veerys, Gray-cheeked Thrush, Swainson's Thrush, Brown Thrasher,
both Orioles, Lincoln's Sparrow, House Wren, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Red-eyed
Vireo, Blue-headed Vireo, Philadelphia Vireo, Great Crested Flycatcher,
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

On the pond at the bottom of the carpark road the GREEN HERON was
momentarily spotted, this being the 3rd successive day.
