Hi Everyone
Today at 7:15am I observed a flock of 53 adult (moulting) Hudsonian
Godwits at Shirley's Bay. They were resting and feeding just west of the
dyke, likely brought down by the heavy rains and wind associated with the
trail end of the hurricane. Other shorebirds noted between Shirley's Bay
and Britannia Pier were 3 ad. Ruddy Turnstone, 22 Black-bellied Plover, 46
Semipalmated Plover, 36 Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 Baird's Sandpiper and 1 Stilt
Sandpiper.

                                                      heading back out,
good birding
                                                            Bruce
