Weather:
Mostly sunny conditions prevailed early in the day with a gradual buildup
of clouds in the afternoon ahead of the advancing cold front. Winds were
moderate from the south-southwest although there was a period in the early
afternoon that they were from the southeast.

Raptor Observations:
The flight was quite steady overall but waned somewhat with the switch in
the wind to the southeast. Numbers were an improvement over the last
several days although the flight was certainly not heavy.

Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
Hopefully this cold front will bring to an end what has been an
unseasonably warm first week of October. Numbers should improve after its
passage.
