Apologies--keyboard does not allow 2 specific letters!!! Therefore, bear
with this report.

Cattle egret--third day with cows near barn on property of Gord Taylor--he
invites you his place. Exit 401 at Westney, north through hy.7 to the next
e-w road (concession 7)--east about 0.5km. to the first lane on the NORTH
side (a big bale of hay with pumpkin face)--take a wonderful trip up his
long winding roadway through maple woods, to his house--to the north and
west is his barn and field with cows--the egret will be seen amongst the
cows--he asks only that you do not disturb the cows.
Betty Pegg gave me a few of her photos of this bird. It was seen several
times during this day-Nov.5.

Several times during the day a N.SHRIKE was noted in the trees along Hall's
Rd.; a male R-n PHEASANT was noted crossing the road in mid-AM.

At the Raptor Watch-- 1 juv. Bald Eagle perched before taking off westward,
as did a N.Goshawk; other migrating hawks were few--1 Red-tailed, 3
Sharp-shinned, 1 male MALE PURPLE FINCH, at least 8 FOX SPARROWS.

HALL'S RD. IS IN SOUTHWEST WHITBY, ACCESSED FROM VICTORIA ST.
