An adult Lesser Yellowlegs was seen today at the St-Isidore Sewage Lagoons.
This is the first one seen locally since May 24 so I assume it is heading
south.

Two northbound (? ) Semi-palmated Sandpipers were observed at the Alfred
Sewage Lagoons today. These sandpipers have been trickling through here
almost daily since the end of May.

DIRECTIONS TO St-Isidore lagoons: From HWY 417 take exit 51. Go north on Cty
Rd 9 then west (left) on Cty Rd. 3 then turn right on Bourgon Rd. The
lagoons are at the end of Bourgon.

DIRECTIONS to Alfred lagoons: From the town of Alfred go east on Highway 17,
then turn
south on Peat Moss Road and drive for 2 km. The lagoons are on your left
(east side of road). Contact (during weekdays) Richard Villeneuve, Township
 of Alfred and
Plantagenet at (613) 679-2292 for the required permit to enter the lagoons.
