Hi folks,

For those interested in northern reports for birds that are more
southerly in distribution.

In White River, a Rufous-sided Towhee, Gray Catbird and House Wren were
observed singing on territory most days this past week.

White River is situated about 4 hours north of Sault Ste. Marie along
Highway 17 north.

The Towhee is situated in a shrubby regen area adjacent to an Aspen
stand (just north-east of the OPP office at the Corner of Hwy 17 and Hwy
631)
The Catbird is situated along a section of the White River in some thick
riparian habitat (just north of the Natural Gas depot along the CPR
tacks)
The House Wren is situated near the intersection of Superior and Monck
Streets.
