Weather:
Conditions today were partly to mostly cloudy with some extended sunny
breaks in the afternoon. Winds were moderate but brisk from the
northwest.



Raptor Observations:
The flight was surprisingly active early in the day with good numbers of
Broad-wings coming through beginning in the second hour of the count. In
fact much of the Broad-wing movement for the day was before noon.
Otherwise the migration was dominated by Turkey Vultures, which were still
moving in small groups until early evening. For the day 2,052 birds of 9
species were seen.



Non-raptor Observations:
An increase in Golden-crowned Kinglets and Red-breasted Nuthatches has been
evident the last couple of days.
