On Saturday morning there was a significant movement of Rusty Blackbirds near the water treatment pumping station off of Industrial Parkway. I estimated there were 200 or more in small groups of 20 - 30 birds. As well, there were a number of Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers and Eastern Phoebes moving through as well. To visit this location, take Hwy. 11 south through Bradford ( towards Newmarket) and turn left onto Disette Avenue at the lights. Drive along to the first public road on the right. Cross the RR Tracks and continue 'till it dead ends. Park there and walk to the end of the gravel road, past the pumpins station and along the trail to the marshy area. Lots of sparrow activity as well. (Wh. Thr., Swamp, Song, Wh. Cr., Lincoln's).
