On 4/28 I saw the eared grebe and an American Bittern at the Grimsby
Sewage Lagoons. The eared grebe was in the 1st cell, the American
bittern was flying over the 1st cell. Other birds included canvasback,
ruddy duck, greater scaup, bufflehead, horned grebe, northern shoveler,
blue wing teal.

Take QEW Niagara to Fifty Road, turn north towards the lake and take the
North Service road to Kelson Road, turn left. Take Kelson Road to the
first road and turn right. The sewage lagoons are on the left. You can
park at the large garage there on the west side. Please respect the no
trespassing signs posted at the north lagoon.

Good birding
