[Ontbirds]Connecticut Warbler etc. at Colonel Sam Smith Park
alvo at sympatico.ca
Sun May 27 17:27:59 EDT 2007
This morning around 12:00 noon, we and a number of
other observers saw a female Connecticut in the
underbrush on the east side of the sports field at
Humber College next to CSSP. Possibly the same
bird that was spotted earlier this week?
Other birds included Magnolia and Blackpoll
Warbler, Gray-Cheeked and Swainson's Thrush,
Willow Flycatcher, BC Night Heron, Bonaparte's
Gull, and two sightings of Whimbrels (a pair close
to the point and a larger flock over the shore
well past of the point to the west).
