Weather:
After a cloudy start to the day, some partial clearing took place during
the late morning but there was still substantial cloud cover off and on for
the remainder of the day. Winds were moderate to fairly strong varying from
west to west-northwest.

Raptor Observations:
After a very slow start, there was some decent movement recorded during
midday, corresponding with the sunnier portions of the day. Broad-wings of
course dominated the flight overall with some good-sized kettles of several
hundred birds seen. While the activity dropped off in the afternoon, there
was still small groups of Broad-wings coming through into the early
evening. This bodes well for the early part of the day tomorrow, I should
think.

Non-raptor Observations:
Steady numbers of migrating Canada Geese were seen throughout the day today
and as yesterday, cormorants were noted in very good numbers.
