Non-raptor Observations:
Most impressive today was the vast and constant movement of waterfowl and
other waterbirds. Hundreds of Tundra Swans paraded through during the day
and thousands of diving ducks swarmed over the mouth of the Detroit River.
Two Long-tailed Ducks were the most notable sighting among the waterfowl
present today. A steady movement of migrating gulls was noted, mostly
Ring-billed and Bonaparte's but included 4 adult Great Black-backed.
