I was happy to see a (recently arrived ?) group of 12 American Robins on a muddy area beside the Avon River in Stratford today. Yesterday there was a single Common Grackle and on Sunday a single Killdeer along the river.

Stratford still hosts some winter species as both Pine Siskins and Common Redpolls may be seen at feeders in the city. A single Tufted Titmouse was seen at feeders on the north side of the Avon yesterday and today.

The Avon River bisects Stratford in an east-west direction. Good access and parking can be found on Lakeside Drive. From Ontario Street (Hwy 7/8) turn north on Front Street and the turn east on Lakeside Drive.

Chat with the whole group, and bring everyone together.
