Weather:
The day started out very calm, warm and clear. Winds were light all day,
starting out west-northwest and transitioning to south-southeast during the
last two hours of the count. Clouds moved in beginning at 11:00AM EST and
large cumulous covered most of the sky by the last hour.

Raptor Observations:
Broad-wings consisted mostly of two small waves with 628 during the 11AM
EST hour and another of 351 at the 1PM EST hour. Sharpies showed their
strongest day with a total of 110. There was moderate movement of this
species between 9AM EST to 1PM EST. American kestrels have been moving in
better numbers during the last few days with 19 today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue jays have made the early part of the day less boring. 262 were counted
between 7:23AM EST and 8AM EST, 95 between 8AM to 9AM EST, and
approximately 75 during the next hour when they stopped moving through. A
common nighthawk flew over mid-day. Migrant passerines were still
relatively few.

Predictions:
The next two days should not bring anything really big through, but likely
a couple of thousand or more broad-wings per day should certainly be seen.
Watch out for later in the week after a small passage of a cold front.
