Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 4.5 hours

Official Counter: Jonathan Stein

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, John Elliott, Patrick Mulawa

Visitors:
Just us regulars.

Weather:
It was overcast and then it rained and then it was overcast again. The wind
was light and variable.

Raptor Observations:
Another quiet day. In addition to a couple largish kettles of turkey
vultures, a handful of sharp-shinned, cooper's and red-tailed hawks were
spotted before the rain.

Non-raptor Observations:
I decided to take a walk along the trails at the end of the day. Nothing
out of the ordinary but did find a few interesting birds. Highlights
included brown creeper, blackpoll warbler, rusty blackbird, american tree
sparrow and swamp sparrow.

Predictions:
Tomorrow is looking clearer with mostly sunny skies in the morning and
partly sunny skies in the afternoon. Temperatures should reach the upper
50s and the wind will be light and mostly out of the south. Sounds pretty
good to me.
