Raptor Observations:
Accipiters and Turkey Vultures showed some interest in moving. An adult

Tree Swallows were abundant throughout the day. Three Cape May Warblers
were foraging in the trees near the count site during the morning hours.
Joining them were Blackpoll, Palm and Yellow-rumped warblers. Two
Red-breasted Nuthatches were heard calling early in the day. A flock of
sandpipers (40+) zipped around the channel in the late morning. A lone
Green-winged Teal flew by in the afternoon. Chimney Swifts (12) continued
to be seen.

Mostly cloud with a high near 50 and a 30 percent chance of rain after 9
