Conditions were similar to yesterday: mostly cloudy to overcast skies,
light to moderate wind and cooler temps. The wind was out of the north to
start, shifting more easterly as the day progressed.

Raptor Observations:
Not much was interested in moving today. There were a couple small groups
of Broad-winged Hawks observed but other than that there was little
activity noted.

Non-raptor Observations:
Lots of activity in the trees around the count site today. In addition to
Swainson's Thrush, Red-eyed Vireo and Warbling Vireo, 14 species of
warblers were seen. Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Pine, Palm,
Bay-breasted, Blackpoll, Chestnut-sided, Nashville, Magnolia, Wilson's,
Canada, Black-and-white, American Redstart and Northern Parula were all
present and accounted for. Also, another large group of American White
Pelicans (30+) was spotted, as well as a few Common Loons (3). Overhead,
Red-winged Blackbird (20+), American Goldfinch (30+) and Chimney Swift
(35+) were moving in small numbers. Canada Geese (250+) flew past

Some overnight rain might bleed into the early morning hours. Once the rain
clears, we'll hopefully get some clearing later in the day. The wind is
anticipated to be moderate and out of the northwest.
