Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 12:00:00
Total observation time: 3 hours

Official Counter: Jenna McDermott

Observers:

Visitors:
A couple that walks around the park each day came up to the tower briefly.

Weather:
All in all, a gray day. Gray water, gray skies, gray-looking trees. The
rain began again at 9:30 and didn't stop all day so the count only lasted 3
hours. Wind was around 9kph from the SE and S and the temperature stayed
around 9C.

Raptor Observations:
No raptors migrated

Non-raptor Observations:
The only passerines that migrated were a small group of European Starlings.
2 Northern Cardinals, a junco, a Song Sparrow, a Downy Woodpecker, and a
Winter Wren were all present in the area around the tower. One Wilson's
Snipe picked up and flew off to the west. See today's eBird list
http://ebird.org/ebird/canada/view/checklist?subID=S26019058

Predictions:
Finally, the long awaited winds! 20kph winds from the NE, with temperatures
around 3C. Hopes are high for a good flight.
