Hi everyone,

I checked out the Coves this morning at Long Point, hoping for a morning
flight of passerines (moving east-west), and was not disappointed. Not only
were there several hundred warblers moving west along the shoreline, I also
had a Eurasian Collared-Dove flyby at 08:04. The bird appeared to have
landed amongst the houses at the end of the Cove Road, but was not refound,
though there's a decent chance it is still in the area.

As noted above, the morning flight of passerines was excellent, with 20
species of warblers (388 unidentified warblers), lots of Rose-breasted
Grosbeaks and Bobolinks as well. See my eBird checklist for species and
numbers: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S31493708

Directions: from Port Rowan, head west along Lakeshore Road about 10
minutes, past Lee Brown's and the Hahn unit; Cove Road will be on your
left, dead-ending at the lake.
