Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Jennifer Lyon

Observers: Bob Johnstone, Cary Graham, Derek Lyon, Ernie Gribble,
Keith Sealy, Mac McAlpine, Tom Stewart

Visitors:
Several visitors today including Harold V from London. Thanks to everyone
who helped with today's count.

Weather:
Mostly sunny today with a few clouds and a bit cooler temps to a high of
22C. Winds were light from the NE to start but quickly switched around to
SSE for the rest of the day.

Raptor Observations:
The count was a bit better than expected with a total of 324 birds. The
tally included Osprey (10), N. Harrier (11), Sharpie (67), a single
Cooper's, Broadwings (131), a lone Redtail, A. Kestrels (100) and Merlin
(3).

Non-raptor Observations:
In the other category today ... some good warblers (Black-throated Blue,
Nashville, Cape May, Wilson's, Redstart and Magnolia), some vireos
(Red-eyed, Warbling and Yellow-throated), Brown Thrasher, Indigo Bunting,
Woodpeckers (Downy, N. Flicker, Red-bellied and Hairy), RT Hummingbird,
Common Nighthawk, Common Loon, flycatchers (Least, Great-crested and
Traill's), Gray Catbird and Blue Jays.

The Monarchs are definitely on the move with 132 tallied. Also Viceroy and
Eastern Tailed Blue.

Predictions:
Winds predicted to be out of the SW for tomorrow and at least moderate
strength so there might be some birds along the cliff.
