Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Jim McCoy, Michael Williamson

Visitors:
A few visitors on the tower briefly today, several able to see a perched
Peregrine Falcon.

Weather:
Light winds variable from the S all day, with mostly cloudy skies in the
morning, and mostly clear skies in the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
Again Turkey Vultures made up the majority, with small numbers of 8 other
species. We were back to Sharp-shinned Hawks outnumbering Cooper's Hawks
again. 3 More Peregrine Falcons today, including one bird perched for about
30 minutes.

Non-raptor Observations:
Diving ducks are starting to increase, with good numbers of Ring-necked
Ducks and a few Greater Scaup today, dabbling ducks remain fairly constant
still. The banders caught a White-eyed Vireo first thing in the morning and
brought it up the tower, what a treat that was. Only 8,300 Blue Jays today,
but 520 Red-winged Blackbirds, and 53 Rusty Blackbirds. Surprisingly, 7
species of Warbler were observed from the tower, which is a good count for
this late in the season! This included a Tennessee Warbler, Orange-crowned
Warbler, and two Pine Warblers. For the full eBird checklist, go to
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S31998269 One Green Darner, and one
Monarch today.

Predictions:
Moderate S winds and mostly clear skies.
