The count was held Sunday, December 18. Over 100 observers found 67 species, one of the lower totals over the last two decades. Weather played a role as there was a cold snap a couple of days before the count; and on the day itself there was a mix of snow, freezing rain, and sleet throughout the morning; and temperatures decreased and wind speed increased, steadily, throughout the day.

No new species was added to the all-time list. Highlights included 2 Harlequin Duck (ties high), Wood Duck, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Hermit Thrush, White-crowned Sparrow and Fox Sparrow.

Record highs included American Robin (1000+; this more than doubles the previous record), Cedar Waxwing (500+), Bufflehead (10), and Northern Flicker (5; ties high).
