Hello OFO Members...and readers of Ontario Birds,
You will have noticed that it is late May and you have not yet received your April issue of Ontario Birds. We apologize immensely for this highly unusual delay in getting the April issue out on time. The delay was caused by the editorial process for papers that are in the April issue, as well as some that are being delayed until the August issue.
We are happy to say that the April issue went to the printer on May 16th and should be mailed out on June 6/7. The contents of the issue are as follows (56 pages):
Peculiarities in the appearance and moult of Long-tailed Duck
Peter S. Burke, Tim Lucas and Kevin A. McLaughlin

A possible Canvasback X Ruddy Duck hybrid

Brandon P.M. Edwards and Mike Bouman
Great Egrets nesting at Presqu'ile Provincial Park, 1999-2021: abundance and interactions with cormorants and raccoons
D.V. Chip Weseloh and David J. Moore

The University of Guelph's Arboretum Winter Bird Count, 1980 - 2022
Brandon P.M. Edwards, Alan P. Watson and Chris G. Earley
Happy reading,
Chip Weseloh,                                                                                                              Chris Risley,                                                                                                                Becky Stewart,                                                                                                        Brandon Edwards,                                                                                                  Jackson Kusack,
