Ross's Goose (Lambton): One bird was at Wawanosh Wetlands September 24-25.
Ross's Goose (Thunder Bay): Pegg and Mark Campbell photographed one at
Terrace Bay beach on September 23 and 24.

Brant (Chatham-Kent): Steve Charbonneau and Blake Mann found one off the
Erieau Marsh Trail on September 25 that was seen by many to September 26.

Piping Plover (Essex): One unbanded juvenile was at the tip of Point Pelee
September 23 to at least September 28.

Ruff (Durham): Carolyn Sebestyen photographed a juvenile at Rotary Park in
Ajax on September 24 that was seen by several observers the next day at the
same location. Presumably the same bird was then found at Alex Robertson
Park in Pickering on September 27 that remained until September 28.

Purple Sandpiper (Northumberland): One bird was photographed at Gull Island
in Presqu'ile Provincial Park on September 23.

Red Phalarope (Essex): Michael McAllister found one off Sleepy Hollow in
Point Pelee on September 25.
Red Phalarope (Niagara): Marcie Jacklin photographed one off Fort Erie on
September 26.

Willet (Middlesex): Stephen Taylor found one at Komoka Provincial Park on
September 26.

Black-legged Kittiwake (Renfrew): Jon Ruddy found a juvenile at Lake Dore
on September 28.

Sabine's Gull (Hamilton): Cheryl Edgecombe found a juvenile off Van
Wagner's Beach on September 29.
Sabine's Gull (Lambton): Single juveniles were reported from Point Edward
on September 23 by Robert Baumander, Ipperwash Beach on September 25 by
James Holdsworth, and from Canatara Park on September 28 by Josh Bouman.
Sabine's Gull (Niagara): A juvenile was off Fort Erie September 26-27.
Sabine's Gull (Renfrew): The juvenile found by Bruce Di Labio remained on
Lake Dore to at least September 27.
Sabine's Gull (Simcoe): Anthony Glenesk found a juvenile at Tyndale Park in
Barrie on September 28.

Pacific Loon (Simcoe): Dave Szmyr found an adult off Tyndale Park in Barrie
on September 28 that remained to at least September 29.

NORTHERN GANNET (Hamilton): Mourad Jabra photographed one off Van Wagner's
Beach on September 23.

YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Toronto): The juvenile bird found September 1
by Marsha Duggan remained all week, seen by many.

Glossy Ibis (Durham): Two birds were at Corner Marsh in Ajax, seen by many
from September 25-28.
Glossy Ibis (Grey): William Gray photographed one at Shallow Lake on
September 25.

Black Vulture (Elgin): Catherine Manschot reported one from Hawk Cliff on
September 28.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to four birds were reported this week from
Queenston.

Swainson's Hawk (Hamilton): Several observers from different locations
along the north side of Hamilton Harbour all observed one on September 28.
Swainson's Hawk (Toronto): Kai Sheffield photographed one from The Beaches
area on September 28.

Black-backed Woodpecker (Bruce): Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory banded
one at Cabot Head on September 24.

Palm Warbler (Yellow) (Muskoka): Aaron Rusak reported one from the Go Home
Bay area on September 28.

Dickcissel (Essex): Mike Austin had one flyover DeLaurier Trail in Point
Pelee on September 23 and Michael McAllister had one on the west beach near
Sleepy Hollow on September 26.
