This count had very good birding conditions: mild temperatures (-5 to 4 C), sun all day, no wind , all lakes and rivers open, and extensive bare ground with a little snow in shaded areas.

No new species for the count; cumulative total remains at 97, with 5 additional count week only species

Finches: Evening Grosbeak (1), Pine Grosbeak (12), Purple Finch (1), Red Crossbill (4), White-winged Crossbill (160), Common Redpoll (118), Pine Siskin (46), American Goldfinch (368)
