GARGANEY (Ottawa): A male was seen flying by Shirley's Bay May 17 but
unfortunately has not been refound.
Harlequin Duck (Algoma): One bird continued off Whitefish Island.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Prince Edward): A young male was off Charwell Point May
16.
Barrow's Goldeneye (THUNDER BAY): A male was reported off Mission Island
May 17.
Eared Grebe (Chatham-Kent): The Blenheim Sewage Lagoons bird continued to
at least May 18.
Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): One bird was reported again from
Albuna Townline between Mersea Rd 6 and 7 on May 14-20.
CHUCK-WILL'S-WIDOW (Prince Edward): The Hilltop Rd bird is back for its
eighth year.
Yellow Rail (Kawartha Lakes): One bird was calling at Sedge Wren Marsh in
Carden Alvar May 15-19 with two birds reported May 18.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Essex): Three birds were at Hillman Marsh May 15.
American Avocet (THUNDER BAY): Two birds were at Mission Marsh May 15.
Hudsonian Godwit (Thunder Bay): One bird was photographed at Hurkett Cove
CA May 17.
Marbled Godwit (Chatham-Kent): One bird was at Blenheim Sewage Lagoons May
15. Another was in Erieau the same day.
Marbled Godwit (Essex): One bird was at Hillman Marsh May 19.
Red-necked Phalarope (Middlesex): One bird was at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons
May 20.
Laughing Gull (Durham): One bird was photographed near Cranberry Marsh May
19.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Essex): The Hillman Marsh bird was last reported May
16.
Snowy Egret (Halton): One bird was in Burlington May 17-20.
Snowy Egret (Norfolk): One bird was seen at various locations around the
causeway/Port Rowan May 14-19.
Snowy Egret (Prince Edward): One bird was photographed at Charwell Point
May 17.
Glossy Ibis (Huron/Lambton): A flock of eight birds was seen flying south
along the Lake Huron shoreline near Grand Bend and then later off Pinery
Provincial Park May 20.
Glossy Ibis (Northumberland): A single bird was at Brighton Constructed
Wetlands May 17-18.
WHITE-FACED IBIS (Essex): One bird was photographed on Pelee Island May 18.
WHITE-FACED IBIS (Norfolk): One bird was photographed at LPBO's Breakwater
station May 19.
Black Vulture (Essex): One bird was over Point Pelee on May 15.
Black Vulture (Lambton): One bird was over the Sydenham River Nature
Reserve May 20.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Five birds were over Welland on May 16.
FORK-TAILED FLYCATCHER (Greater Sudbury): One bird was photographed near
Sudbury on May 18 but has not been refound.
Loggerhead Shrike (THUNDER BAY): One bird was photographed at Little Pigeon
Bay May 14.
Loggerhead Shrike (Toronto): One bird was at Tommy Thompson Park May 16.
EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Thunder Bay): One bird was photographed in Longlac
on May 16.
Worm-eating Warbler (Essex): One bird was reported at Point Pelee on May 14.
Worm-eating Warbler (Lambton): One bird was reported at Canatara Park,
Sarnia on May 19.
Kentucky Warbler (Essex): One bird was reported at Point Pelee May 15.
Kentucky Warbler (Lambton): One bird was reported at Pinery Provincial Park
May 19.
Kentucky Warbler (Toronto): One bird was photographed at Ashbridge's Bay
Park on May 15 and a different bird was photographed and seen by many also
at Ashbridge's Bay Park on May 17.
Kirtland's Warbler (Chatham-Kent): One bird was at Rondeau May 15-17.
Kirtland's Warbler (Essex): One bird was reported in Windsor on May 14.
Point Pelee had a widely-seen bird on May 14 and another reported on May
17, 19, and 20.
Yellow-throated Warbler (Durham): One bird was reported May 14 from near
Orono.
Yellow-throated Warbler (Halton): One bird was reported from Shell Park in
Oakville on May 15.
Summer Tanager (Essex): One female was reported at Point Pelee on May 20.
Summer Tanager (Oxford): One young male was photographed in Woodstock May
18.
Summer Tanager (THUNDER BAY): One bird was in Rossport May 16.
Summer Tanager (York): A young male was at Swan Lake in Markham and seen by
several observers May 18. A female was photographed in a backyard in
Markham on May 14.
WESTERN TANAGER (Cochrane): A male was in Timmins May 16-17.
BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK (Algoma): One bird was reportedly seen briefly in
Pancake Bay Provincial Park, not far from where one over-wintered, on May
15.
PAINTED BUNTING (Algoma): An adult male was photographed visiting a
backyard in Blind River May 15.
