Official Counter:        Hugh Kent

Observers:        Liz Kent

Visitors:
Thanks to Liz for helping out and it was good to see Lou and Jim on the
tower braving the high wind.

Weather:
Very strong wind from the SW, increasing during the morning. Temperature a
comfortable 18 degC, overcast initially, gradually clearing.

Raptor Observations:
Very few flying today, only the ones who like the strong wind such as the
Falcons and the Harriers.

Non-raptor Observations:
Great to see American Pelican (13) flying west over the marsh, new for the
season together with American Crow. Otherwise the strong wind limited list
diversity.  The list is at https://ebird.org/checklist/S271631265

Predictions:
Lower windspeed tomorrow, with wind from the west. Cloudy with a reasonably
comfortable temperature of around 18 degC. Hopefully the calmer conditions
will encourage more to fly.
