Visitors:
A few visitors today and thanks to the folks who did today's count... Tom B
and Jason M.
Weather:
Bright sunny skies for the day with very little cloud. Winds were very
light from the NE then E and finally swinging to SE which again shut down
the flight.
Raptor Observations:
A small flight today with just 45 birds for the count period. Mostly
Sharpies today with small numbers of other species. The counters believe
they may have had a Black Vulture go past during the count but were unable
to confirm it 100%.
Non-raptor Observations:
There was a nice flyby of a Red-headed Woodpecker but otherwise no
non-raptor list was sent.
Predictions:
The forecast looks basically exactly the same as today with winds from the
E swinging to SE and amostly sunny. I imagine there will be a few birds
moving through but it will not be much of a flight if the wind swings to
the SE too early in the day.
