Good morning birders, What a wonderful day for birding in Point Pelee. So far 19 species of warbler have been seen in the Park. A CERULEAN WARBLER was reported in the Tilden Woods. At the Tip there was a SUMMER TANAGER. It was moving along the east side north of the Tram Loop. We also had another reported from the Visitor Center parking lot. Also noted at the Tip was a WHITE-EYED VIREO. This species was also found on Shuster Trail, and along the Redbud Trail. Also seen along that trail, a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT. Birders reported a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD and a GRASSHOPPER SPARROW along the West Beach Parking Lot. PROTHONOTARY WARBLER were seen in several spots in Tilden Woods, along Shuster Trail, and on Woodland Trail. Also on Woodland Trail a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen. People located an EASTERN SCREECH-OWL just south of the Visitor Center on Woodland Trail. Good birding, Quest Nature Tours leaders (Justin, Chris, Pete and Jean) and Stewart and Emma.
