POINT PELEE NP MIGRATION REPORT - MAY 11

Good morning birders,

It is a cool sunny day and migrating birds are scattered through the park.
2 WORM-EATING WARBLERS were on Redbud Trail and Tilden Woods. A SUMMER
TANGER was located at the tip woods. Another was found along the road to
the Tip near halfway point. GRASSHOPPER SPARROW at the tip as well as MARSH
WREN. Also reported from the Tip were AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN.
A BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was seen sitting in a tree just south of the
halfway stop on the road to the Tip. Tilden was busy with warblers
including CANADA WARBLER and BLACKPOLL WARBLER. The YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT in
the Cactus Field was showing well again today.
