Official Counter: Tom Bolohan

Visitors:
None reported for the day. Thanks to Tom B and Su R for doing a count
today.
Weather:
As predicted the winds were light from the SE for the day with clear blue
skies with not a cloud in sight. Temps continue to be way too warm hitting
a high of 26C (and feeling much hotter).
Raptor Observations:
No surprise that the flight was fairly small today with a total of 179
raptors... so we did in fact hit triple digits :) Most of these were
Sharpies (144).
Non-raptor Observations:
None reported.
Predictions:
Monday's forecast is really more of the same with SE winds for the day.
However, of note is that the TUV (Thermal Updraft Velocity) is forecast to
be very high across the area from Barrie right down through to the Hawk
Cliff area. This means that the Broadwings will almost certainly be taking
advantage of this BUT the main flight could be spread anywhere from Hawk
Cliff to London and over to Ipperwash Beach where James H has been
reporting some good BW numbers.
