Harlequin Duck (Durham): The male continued off Thickson's Point to at
least May 8.
Harlequin Duck (Lambton): Jan Klooster photographed a female type bird at
Courtright Waterfront Park on May 8 and it was still there May 9.

Eared Grebe (Chatham-Kent): There was one bird at Erieau May 8-12.
Eared Grebe (Essex): There was one bird just north of Point Pelee seen by
many on May 6 and reported again May 7.

Eurasian Collared-Dove (Chatham-Kent): The Shrewsbury bird, found March 2
by Steve Charbonneau, was reported to at least May 12 this week.
Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): One bird is back at the same location near
the intersection of Rds 5 and 31 outside of Leamington where up to two were
present last year.

White-winged Dove (Timiskaming): Stevie-Rae Taman photographed one bird in
Matachewan May 9-10.

Yellow Rail (Kawartha Lakes): Up to five birds were reported from Sedge
Wren Marsh along Wylie Road May 7-11.
Yellow Rail (Norfolk): Scott Gillingwater had one bird calling from an
inaccessible area of Long Point Provincial Park May 9.
Yellow Rail (Peterborough): Tyler Hoar had up to four birds calling from
Sandy Lake Road on May 11.
Yellow Rail (Toronto): One bird was at Ashbridges Bay Park and seen by many
on May 11.

BLACK-NECKED STILT (Chatham-Kent): Six birds flew over the marsh trail at
Rondeau and then briefly stopped at Keith McLean CA on May 6. Two birds
were seen by many at Blenheim Sewage Lagoons May 11-12.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Essex): One bird was reported in flight at Hillman
Marsh on May 11.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Lambton): Evan Abma photographed two at Bright's Grove
Sewage Lagoons on May 11.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): Bill Lindley found two at Strathroy Sewage
Lagoons on May 12.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Norfolk): One bird was seen by many in a flooded field
east of St. Williams May 6-11.

American Avocet (Essex): George Prieksaitis reported three briefly at
Hillman Marsh on May 7.

Marbled Godwit (Chatham-Kent): Dave Worthington had one fly past Keith
McLean CA on May 11.
Marbled Godwit (Durham): Laura Theys photographed one at McLaughlin Bay on
May 6.
Marbled Godwit (Simcoe): Anthony Glenesk found one in a flooded field east
of Stayner on May 9.

Willet (Cochrane): Roxane Filion found one at Porcupine Lake on May 8 that
stayed until May 9.

MARSH SANDPIPER (Lambton): The bird found by James Holdsworth on April 30
at Thedford Sewage Lagoons was enjoyed by hundreds and was last seen May 9.

Black-headed Gull (Niagara): Ryan Grifiths found one on May 7 at Queenston
and it was seen later the same day at Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Pacific Loon (Northumberland): Jon and Samar Ruddy found one at Port Hope
Harbour on May 8.
Pacific Loon (Toronto): Gavin Platt found one at Tommy Thompson Park on May
6.

NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Prince Edward): Paul Jones found one at Hamilton
wetland on May 6.

Snowy Egret (Essex): Two birds were reported from Pelee Island on May 6.
One bird was seen by many in various locations near Hillman Marsh May 7-8.

Glossy Ibis (Lennox and Addington): Paul Mackenzie and Gary Hillaby found
one at the Martin Edwards Reserve on Amherst Island on May 10.
WHITE-FACED IBIS (Chatham-Kent): The one found by Jeff Tunstall on May 4 at
the Erieau Marsh Trail was seen again May 6 and 7.

Black Vulture (Chatham-Kent): Janette Davidson reported one at Rondeau on
May 8.
Black Vulture (Durham): Tim and Jeremy Logan reported one at Darlington PP
on May 12.
Black Vulture (Niagara): There was at least one seen this week from
Queenston.
Black Vulture (Ottawa): Rob Pinilla had one in flight over Cumberland on
May 6 (presumably the same bird found earlier to the east by Vincent Fyson).
Black Vulture (Prescott and Russell): Vincent Fyson found one near Vinette
on May 6.

MISSISSIPPI KITE (Essex): Several observers photographed one at Fish Point
on Pelee Island on May 12.

BELL'S VIREO (Essex): There was a possible bird at Point Pelee on May 11
and then it or a different bird was positively ID'd on May 12 near White
Pine in the park and seen by many.

Loggerhead Shrike (Algoma): Carter Dorscht found one bird at the Loonie
Boardwalk in Echo Bay on May 10.

Harris's Sparrow (Essex): The bird at Holiday Beach CA since April 29 was
last seen May 6.
Harris's Sparrow (Lambton): Al and Marni Peters found one at Pinery PP on
May 7 that was seen again on May 8.

Henslow's Sparrow (Chatham-Kent): Kevin Gevaert found one along the Marsh
Trail at Rondeau on May 6 that continued to May 8.

Kirtland's Warbler (Chatham-Kent): Ron Ridout photographed one by the Pony
Barns in Rondeau but it could not be refound.
Kirtland's Warbler (Essex): Nick Nolan reported one at Point Pelee by Dunes
on May 9. Several observers had one at Lighthouse Point on Pelee Island on
May 11.
Kirtland's Warbler (Lambton): Carshenan Lai and Matt Parsons found one near
Kettle Point on a site without public access on May 10.

Blue Grosbeak (Essex): A young male was seen by many at the tip of Point
Pelee on May 10.
