Good morning birders,

Birding is a bit slow with blustery East winds. At the Tip, several RUDDY
TURNSTONES were present and a BLACK SCOTER flew by. Also noted was a first
summer LITTLE GULL, and a few LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS. A NORTHERN
MOCKINGBIRD was found in the Tip area. BLUE-WINGED WARBLER was heard
singing in Sparrow Field.

A total of about 23 warbler species have been noted thus far.

On Woodland trail at bridge F a number of PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS were noted.
A HOODED WARBLER was putting on a show on Redbud Trail. On Shuster Trail a
GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER and BLACKPOLL WARBLER was found at the start of the
trail and at the wet spot, a Prothonotary was also seen.

A PINE WARBLER and BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO was seen in the Dunes Picnic area
and there was a report of a SUMMER TANAGER there as well. Sanctuary Picnic
Area is still hosting a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW.

Outside the Park, the Ferruginous Hawk from yesterday was found again near
Port Alma (Chatham-Kent County).

Good Birding,

Alan Watson, Aaron Brisebois, Chris Earley, Dale Wenger, Dana Latour, Emma
Burbidge, Eric Baldo, Gabriel Foley, Jean Iron, Justin Peter, Kyle Horner,
