Ontbirds subscribers,

Mike Burrell, Ethan Quinton and I are watching the bird right now and listening to continuous flight song from 5:40 a m. until 6:10 a.m.

Anyone planning to come for this bird should try ONLY at sunrise. It has not been singing at other times.  It is still singing as I write this at 6:15 a.m.

The bird is about 1 km east of Hwy 619 on Soliquer Road in the second fenced off short grass field north of the village of Pine wood.

Ethan Quinton and I just found a male Lark Bunting on the same road as the
Sprague's Pipit, a couple km to the east. It was at 48.7810710, -94.2610991
and singing from the fence and telephone wires.
