Good morning birders, A bit slower this morning but steady birding none-the-less. A few rarities have been reported. A PACIFIC LOON was lingering at the Tip. Also noted briefly there as well. A CERULEAN WARBLER, PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER were seen in Tilden Woods. A BOBOLINK was singing high in a tree in Tilden Woods. People reported a MOURNING WARBLER, near the north end of the Redbud Trail. WHITE-EYED VIREO were found on Redbud and Tilden Trails. PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS are perhaps setting up territories at two locations on the Woodland Trail. Yesterday a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER was seen at Ship’s Ahoy Restaurant just outside the Park.
