Observed for 30-45 minutes alongside field on Alps Road, n.e. of Ayr. The bird was essentially all white with dark beak and perhaps some dark colouration around eye (closest observation was ~100m), yellow/orange eyes, yellow talons. Bird perched in short or taller trees along field perimeter, and a couple of times flew down to ground to pounce on prey (field mice?). Body shape, perching posture, flight were all representative of a red-tailed hawk. There was another red-tailed hawk (typical colouration) also observed in the field and perimeter trees at the same time, and also 2 common ravens (one of which 'dive-bombed' the leucistic hawk several times).
