Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours
Official Counter: Chris Burris
Observers: Ken Wootton, Mac McAlpine
Visitors:
Thanks to Mac M. who kept track north of Dexter Line, and Ken M. and many
visitors who helped with spotting at the main site.
Weather:
Variable clouds, moderate WNW winds, temps 5C-11C
Raptor Observations:
Fair numbers and some seasonal goodies, including 3 Rough-legs, another 14
Golden Eagles, and 3 Goshawks. The raptors were spread out from cliffside
to well north of Dexter Line.
Non-raptor Observations:
At least one CAVE SWALLOW noted in a mixed flock. A couple of late
Monarchs. eBird list here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S281155993
Predictions:
Modest (mostly) NW winds and variable clouds suggest that more birds will
be moving.
