Eurasian Wigeons (s?) Long Point

Yesterday evening I discovered a lovely Eurasian Wigeon at the Port Rowan wetlands which remains as of, well, now.

This afternoon Ryan Leys found another at the Old Cut Research Station although it may be a hybrid.

Otherwise spring arrivals are more or less as expected for this time of year. Regular updates from Long Point will commence on the LPBO sightings board April 1.

The EUWI was still present at Port Rowan Wetlands as of 8am this morning,
Saturday March 27th. Look in the NW area of the largest cell. Parking is on
site.
