The weather and the birding are spectacular today! At the Tip a Blue Grosbeak and a Dickcissel were seen flying off the Tip. Also at the Tip was a Cerulean Warbler, two American White Pelicans, a Blackpoll Warbler, and an Iceland Gull.

Woodland Nature Trail and Tilden Woods were alive with warblers. Noted were a Canada Warbler, a Golden-winged Warbler, many Bay-breasted Warblers, Northern Parula’s, Blackburnian Warblers, and Prothonotary Warblers on both trails. A Common Nighthawk was found roosting on Tilden. Philadelphia Vireos have also arrived.

Both Black-billed Cuckoo and Yellow-billed Cuckoo have been seen today as well.

Good Birding,
