White-winged Dove (Thunder Bay): The bird found by Rob Swainson on
September 5 in his Mountain Bay Drive yard in Thunder Bay remained to at
least September 13.
American Avocet (Chatham-Kent): Two birds remained at Blenheim Sewage
Lagoons on September 9 and a single remained to September 13.
American Avocet (Essex): The three birds found last week by Jeremy Hatt
remained at Essex Sewage Lagoons to September 11.
Hudsonian Godwit (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry): Hans van der Zweep
reported one at Farran Park in Ingleside on September 12.
Hudsonian Godwit (Wellington): Dan MacNeal found one at Luther Marsh on
September 15.
Marbled Godwit (Hamilton): Dave Don found one at Windermere Basin on
September 12.
Willet (Chatham-Kent): Jim Burk found one at Blenheim Sewage Lagoons on
September 11 that remained to September 13.
Willet (Niagara): Ryan Grifiths found two at Lakeside Park in St.
Catharines on September 10.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Hamilton): Rich Poort reported an adult off Van Wagners
Beach on September 11.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Lambton): James Holdsworth reported a juvenile off
Ipperwash Beach on September 14.
Sabine's Gull (Essex): Michael McAllister found one off the tip of Point
Pelee on September 11.
Sabine's Gull (Lambton): Josh Bouman reported up to 18 off Canatara Park on
September 14.
Sabine's Gull (Renfrew): Bruce Di Labio found a juvenile on Lake Dore on
September 14 that remained to at least September 15.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Frontenac): The bird found by Jenny Newton in
Cataraqui Bay on July 28 was seen by many all week to at least September 14.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Toronto): Patrick Scanlon found an adult at Sunnyside
Beach on August 20 that remained in the area to be seen by many through at
least September 9.
American White Pelican (Hamilton): The bird found two weeks ago in Cootes
Paradise was reported again this week to at least September 13.
YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Toronto): The juvenile bird found September 1
by Marsha Duggan remained all week, seen by many to at least September 15.
Glossy Ibis (Niagara): Diana & Rick Werezak found one at Charles Daly Park
in St. Catharines on September 15 that was seen by many.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to two birds were reported this week from the
Queenston area.
Western Kingbird (Norfolk): Sean Walls reported one from LPBO's Old Cut
field station on September 11.
Harris's Sparrow (Algoma): Cornelia Poeschl photographed one on Cullis Rd,
between Iron Bridge and Thessalon on September 15.
Nelson's Sparrow (Muskoka): Aaron and Cindy Rusak found one at the
Bracebridge Sewage Treatment Ponds on September 15.
Yellow-headed Blackbird (Chatham-Kent): Ric McArthur photographed one along
the marsh edge of Rondeau Provincial Park on September 9.
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER (Muskoka): Scott Priebe reported one from Three Mile
Lake on September 15.
Dickcissel (Chatham-Kent): Ric McArthur photographed one at Rondeau on
September 14.
Dickcissel (Essex): Mike Austin reported one flying over Delaurier at Point
Pelee on September 9.
