Good morning birders,
It is a fine day here in the Park. Birding is somewhat slow but there are
some highlights.

At the Tip, there was a light Reverse, with a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, and
EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE being the two most exciting finds. Also noted at the
Tip a number of AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS  were seen.

A YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO was found on Post Wood Trail.

About 20 species of Warbler including a late ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER are
still being reported. But numbers are down at the moment.

PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS are still being found on Woodland Trail, and along
Shuster Trail at the first wet spot.
Also in TIlden Woods a RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was noted along the south
Seasonal Trail.

We should mention that the Tram System is currently out of order as of
the writing of this report.

Outside of the Park, a WHITE-FACED IBIS was located at Hillman Marsh
Shorebird Cell. Also noted there was at least one WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER.
