King Eider (Toronto): The young male that has been off Tommy Thompson Park
was photographed on June 15.
King Eider (York): A young male was photographed at Fossil Hill Pond in
Vaughan by Dinu Bandyopadhyay on June 13.
COMMON EIDER (Prince Edward): Cathy and Erica Caley photographed a female
off False Duck Island on June 14.
Eared Grebe (Rainy River): There were as many as 7 birds at the Rainy River
Sewage Lagoons this week with sightings to at least June 16.
White-winged Dove (Durham): Peter Hogenbirk reported one flying over a yard
between Courtice and Bowmanville on June 10.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The two birds found by Bill Lindley at
Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on May 12 remained again all week.
Willet (Bruce): Jarmo Jalava photographed one on Barrier Island off the
east side of the Bruce Peninsula on June 14.
Laughing Gull (Halton): Dina Ghaly photographed an adult at Oakville
Harbour on June 14.
Laughing Gull (Toronto): Jean Iron and Ron Pittaway found a first summer
bird at Rouge Beach Park on June 12.
Western Kingbird (Thunder Bay): Courtney Irvine reported one from Hattie
Cove in Pukaskwa National Park on June 11.
SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER (Huron): Joann and Sandy McLean photographed one
outside Camp Hermosa near Goderich on June 14.
Lark Sparrow (Simcoe): Scott Watson found one at the Packard Tract west of
Barrie on June 14 that was seen by many.
Kirtland's Warbler (Simcoe): Many observers enjoyed up to five singing
males at the Packard Tract west of Barrie this week. For details on site
